About Whittney

I have dedicated myself to the study and practice of herbalism for over 15 years, with a connection to plants and foraging that began in my childhood. Raised in a rural area, I have fond memories of digging up Indian soap root to make soap and crafting herbal mixtures in my tipi.

My love and respect for the natural world are also deeply rooted in my Native American heritage as a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, and in the love of plants I witnessed from many of my elders. Over the years, I’ve traveled to different parts of the world where I studied herbal practices and farming techniques and have had the privilege of learning from some of the leading western herbalists in the country.

Today, I work one-on-one with clients as a clinical herbalist, offering plant-based support. I specialize in working with individuals navigating allergies, autoimmune conditions, postnatal motherhood and lactation, and digestive issues—guiding them with thoughtful, holistic approaches.

In addition to my clinical practice, I lead classes and workshops that blend ancestral knowledge with modern research, empowering others to connect with nature. I believe in the power of plants to heal, nourish, and guide us back to a simpler, more sustainable way of living.
